Q: What is Call n' Speak?
A: Call n' Speak is a premium 'Phone to PC' service for Pakistanis living abroad. With just a few clicks, you may get in touch with friends and family all over the world without worrying about the call duration at a very low price (~local rates).

Q: What is a mapped number?
A: A mapped number is a calling party's number from which you can receive phone calls on your PC/Mobile. For e.g. if you register '03452627280' (your family's number), and ask your family to dial your Islamabad, UK or USA number - call will automatically reach your PC/Mobile without dialling any extension or additional number. (Note: Mapped number only applies to trial call. Once your account is finalized, you can receive phone calls from any number you want!)

Q: What is a Trial Call?
A: Once you register an account and buy a number from us, we setup 'Trial Call' for you through which you can test connectivity. As soon as we detect a successful trial call from your side, we process your pending payments.

Q: How much will it cost me to dial UK/USA numbers?
A: We have tested phone calls from different telecom networks using prepaid connections during December 2009 and have observed the following rates (inclusive of taxes): Mobilink Rs. 2.81/min, Telenor Rs. 2.37/min, Ufone Rs. 2.63/min, Warid Rs. 2.21/min, PTCL/V-PTCL Rs. 2.32/min.

Q: Can I receive phone calls from any number?
A: Yes, you can receive phone calls from any number you want - no mapped number restrictions!

Q: Can I receive calls on my mobile phone?
A: Yes, you can receive phone calls on your mobile phone (over GPRS/EDGE/WiFi). For more details, please visit: How to Setup?

Q: How will I be charged?
A: You will be charged a fixed monthly amount as per your city/package on every number you will purchase from us.

Q: Which payment merchant does Call n' Speak support?
A: We're currently accepting payments using Google Checkout, Moneybookers and Western Union.

Q: Does Call n' Speak accept credit card?
A: Yes, we accept credit cards through Google Checkout and Moneybookers.

Q: I'm a new user, when will Call n' Speak charge me?
A: Call n' Speak will process your pending payments once your 'Trial Call' is successful.

Softphone Errors:

Q: What does Error #503 mean?
A: Error #503 comes in case of bad authentication. Please enter your valid username and password.

Q: I am getting Error #408 on my screen. Help?
A: 'Request Time Out' error occurs whenever your softphone is unable to connect to our servers. It could be due to proxy configurations, ISP/LAN limitations etc. However, you can contact our support for further assistance in this regard.

Q: Error #404, what can I do about it?
A: Oops! Your account hasn't activated on our system yet. Usually it takes 15minutes for your account to become active on our server.
